An Incredible opportunity in Al-Aqsa!

The Messenger of Allah (saw) said, “Whoever recites a letter from the Book of Allah, he will receive one good deed as ten good deeds like it. I do not say that Alif Lam Mim is one letter, but rather Alif is a letter, Lam is a letter, and Mim is a letter.” [Tirmidhi]

In partnership with the Custodians of the Blessed Masjid Al-Aqsa, the Hashemite Fund for the Restoration of Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Dome of the Rock, to establish and support the Mustafa (saw) Trust (Waqfiyyat Al-Mustafa (saw)) for the completion (Khatm) of the Noble Qur’an within the precincts of the Blessed Masjid Al-Aqsa.

Collectively we aim in sha Allah to support 1,000 reciters distributed into 100 groups to recite the Noble Qur’an in the Blessed Masjid Al-Aqsa, mornings and evenings throughout the week.

The reward for prayers in this Blessed Masjid are multiplied anywhere from 250 [Hakim] to 50,000 [Ibn Majah] times more. Imagine then the reward for supporting the elite guardians of Al-Quds to recite the Noble Qur’an at our first Qiblah!

£100 will sponsor 1 complete recitation of the Noble Qur’an (Khatm) in the name of your loved ones in this sacred space.

You can sponsor as many Khatams as you wish.

I want to be part of this!

Significance of Masjid Al-Aqsa

Al-Aqsa is the third holiest site in Islam

The Prophet (saw) travelled here in the miracle that is Al-Isra wal-Mi'raj

It was the direction of the first qiblah (direction of prayer) in Islam

Illuminate the Dome of the Rock Masjid!

The Prophet (saw) was asked, ‘If one of us cannot visit it (Al-Aqsa), what should we do?’ He (saw) said, ‘Then he should make a gift of some oil to be lit therein [in its lamps]. For indeed the one who gifts this to it will be like the one who has prayed therein [worth 1,000 prayers]’. [Ahmad]

Alhamdulillah, you have been supporting our work at Masjid Al-Aqsa since 2008! You have sponsored olive trees, renovated wudu areas, illuminated various parts of the Masjid and helped us carry out essential maintenance and repair work.

Now, we are honoured to invite you to an incredible opportunity - illuminating the Dome of the Rock Masjid! Located at the centre of the Blessed Masjid Al-Aqsa complex, it is believed to be the exact place where the Prophet (saw) was ascended into the heavens on Al-Isra wal-Mi’raj!

You can help us preserve this historic site, by installing a state-of-the-art lighting system in all central areas for decades to come, in sha Allah!

The total cost of installing the lighting system is £2.5 million - and you have already given over £1.3 million! With this Sadaqah, our partners hope to begin Phase 1 soon. This will illuminate the Main Prayer Hall, the ceiling and arcs, the front and the internal corners.

We highly encourage you to give to this blessed lighting project! It is not only an immense Sadaqah Jariyah, it also carries the reward of praying in Masjid Al-Aqsa - worth a thousand prayers!

Don’t miss out on these blessings! Give now to illuminate the Dome of the Rock Masjid on behalf of yourself or a loved one.

Renovate the Bab al-Qattanin Wudu Area

Alhamdulillah, we have been honoured to renovate a few of Masjid Al-Aqsa wudu areas - such as the one pictured on the left. We are currently fundraising torenovate the Bab al-Qattanin Wudhu Area- which isinthe Noble Sanctuary itself.

Located at the eastern side of the Masjid, it is 168 square metres and will serve 1,000 worshippers every hour, ma sha Allah!

The wudu area is in a poor state right now, as you can see inthis video. It walls and doors need repairing, its sewage and plumping need to be improved and we must elevate its quality so it is worthy of the Noble Sanctuary.

Give now to share in the Sadaqah Jariyah!

Renovating the Bab ar-Rahmah Cemetery

‘And whoever honours the symbols of Allah - indeed, it is from the piety of hearts’. [Quran, 22:32]

Bab ar-Rahmah was established at the time of Umar ibn al-Khattab (ra), and is thus around 1,400 years old!

Covering 11,000 square metres, it includes the graves of Sahabah such as Ubadah ibn Samit (ra), the first Islamic judge of Shaam and al-Quds, among 70 other Companions, leaders, martyrs and scholars.

Martyrs from many armies who defended Jerusalem are also buried here, as well as Turk Muslims who lived and died in Ottoman times.

Join us in preserving this significant Islamic landmark! Here's what your Sadaqah Jariyah can do:

  • £100 renovates 5 square metres
  • £200 renovates 10 square metres
  • £500 renovates 25 square metres
